Periphery celebrates the historic events surrounding the Woolworth's Sit-In on February 1, 1960, and focuses on how the Greensboro Four's heroic actions affected the lives of a diverse group of ordinary Greensboro citizens. Multiple perspectives are presented by the actors, and as audience members you will enjoy the fast pace of the dialogue, its humor, its passion, and its local historical significance.

An especially poignant message for Black History Month, this revival of Periphery also honors the first anniversary of the opening of the International Civil Rights Center & Museum. An uplifting and enlighting play that will heighten your experience at the museum—and your appreciation for Greensboro as it is today.
