Seniors Reaching Out (SRO)
Seniors Reaching Out—"SRO"—not only gives senior citizens the opportunity to explore and showcase their creativity, but it also addresses seniors' critical needs and issues.
The fastest-growing population group in our country is comprised of adults ages 50 and older; however, this group is woefully under-served when it comes to programs and services.
SRO helps to fill this gap by addressing issues—including illness, death of a loved one, the need to enter a retirement home, and growing old alone—while showcasing participants' talents as they perform sketches, skits, and many favorite Broadway songs.
