Community Theatre of Greensboro & Guilford County Schools are proud to present our fourth annual partnership production featuring the talents of GCS students and their families, as well as GCS faculty and staff.

Based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, and featuring a sparkling score, GODSPELL JR. boasts a string of well-loved songs, led by the international hit, "Day By Day." As the cast performs "Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord," "Learn Your Lessons Well," "All For The Best," "All Good Gifts," "Turn Back, O Man" and "By My Side," the parables of Jesus Christ come humanly and hearteningly to life. Drawing from various theatrical traditions, such as clowning, pantomime, charades, acrobatics and vaudeville, GODSPELL JR. is a unique reflection on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, tolerance and love.

Community Theatre of Greensboro & Guilford County Schools are proud to present our third annual partnership production featuring the talents of GCS students and their families, as well as GCS faculty and staff.

An American musical classic, The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill’s visit to River City, Iowa where he meets and falls in love with the willful, spinster librarian, Marian Paroo. With his word-a-second style, "Professor" Harold Hill convinces the town to adopt his revolutionary music program, "The Think System," or face the moral decline of the youngsters of River City. Chaos ensues as Hill's credentials are questioned and he is forced to prove himself to the citizens of River City.
