First-ever TRIAD IDOL Reunion scheduled for October 23, 2011!
TRIAD IDOL is CTG's annual fund-raiser and talent-finder.
In 2005, CTG decided to try something new: we kicked off TRIAD IDOL, a singing competition open to people ages 8 to 108.
Almost seven years—and 4,000 performers—later, TRIAD IDOL has become a huge phenomenon in our community, with incredibly intense competitions. In addition to crowning Triad Idols in three age groups every year, through the TRIAD IDOL series, CTG has expanded its outreach across our community and added many new performers to our family.
But CTG has never had the chance to bring the former Triad Idols, runners-up, and audience favorites together...until now!
Join CTG at the Carolina Theatre at 4 pm on Sunday, October 23, for unforgettable performances from more than 20 TRIAD IDOL All-Stars, who will be competing in two age groups (18 and under, and 19 and older) for the chance to win $500 (and bragging rights!).
Audience members will serve as the "fifth judge" in the competition. Four on-stage judges will account for 80% of each contestant's score; audience members will account for 20% of each contestant's score by casting their votes ($1/vote) for their favorite performers.
